Damian chuckled, "From the way you describe him, he sounds like he'd be fat and slow witted." He remarked. "It matters not to me Princess." Seeing her confused look he continued, "I overheard those idiots talking earlier...don't worry Your Highness. I have no intention of taking you back to your castle, the idea of a ransom though...that would be something." He said in a musing tone. Seeing her shiver he sighed and snapped his fingers so she was dressed in a pair of warm pajama's and a cloak. "Don't thank me, I just don't want anyone to hear you chattering through the entire forest and investigate." He pointed out not bothering to see her expression, "Prince Derek...I always heard he was a...arrogant sort." He said eventually. He was quiet for a few moments after she introduced herself, even though he knew who she was...the name almost made him stop. "Damian...my name is Damian." He said quietly.

Morgana looked at him in shock when he called her Princess and she froze. Was he going to take her back? Though as he went on, that worry faded...until he mentioned a ransom. A little more fear wiggled it's way into her and she wondered if she should run. Suddenly she looked down and she was no longer clothed in her soaked dress but was now in a pair of probably the most comfortable pajamas she had ever worn and a cloak. Maybe this man wasn't so bad...even if he did want a ransom, he deserved it for saving her life. But before she could thank him, he cut her off and she twisted her lips into a frown. "So I'm assuming you're going to kidnap me then, if you want a ransom. I'm sure you'd get whatever you want." She muttered as she followed behind him. It wasn't so much kidnapping since she was willingly following behind him either...As he insulted Prince Derek, Morgana couldn't help the smirk that came to her lips. "You've got that right. He's a real piece of work..." Morgana felt a little perk in her step now, surprised by how comfortable she felt with him even though they had just met. Though when he said his name, she froze in step. Her gaze was glued to him before she ran around the front and stopped right in front of him, making him stop to look at her. "Wait...I could have sworn you just said Damian...you're name can't be Damian.." Though the more she looked at him, the more it sort of made sense. Her brother had disappeared over sixteen years ago but she still remembered him like she had just seen him yesterday. This man...he had her brother's eyes. His skin...Could it be?

Damian shrugged, "I haven't decided yet." He said truthfully, as he considered it. Holding her for ransom might be fun, after all he did deserve it seeing as how he'd saved her. Then again he'd probably get thrown into jail just for finding her, that was how that kind of shit worked. He failed to see her initial reaction upon hearing his name but frowned as she ran in front of him. "Yes I can...seeing as how it's my name. Why? Don't tell me you have another fiancee running around with my name...that would just be absolutely insane." He said as he walked past her before he raised his arm and set the falcon flying back into the sky. "Look Princess...I'd rather not talk about my past, if that's what you're getting at." He said eventually his tone brokering no argument.

Morgana felt a little glimmer of hope when he confirmed that his name was indeed Damian. Though when he walked past her, she rolled her eyes and started to follow him again. His tone clearly told her that he wasn't going to change his mind. The Damian she remembered was sweet and loving..not a smart ass. "No, it's my mistake. I thought you were someone I used to know but you can't be. You're far too rude to be him. And stop calling me Princess, I hate that. It makes me feel like a child." She pouted and ran her fingers through her hair as they walked. Her hair was starting to dry into natural soft curls and she couldn't help but smile at that. She hated putting her hair up and using products to keep it under control. Whenever she could leave it down, she felt more free...more herself.

Damian made a face as she mentioned this other Damian being sweet and loving. "Oh well that's good then, I'm not exactly known for my good nature. Were the two of you child sweethearts?" He asked teasingly, unable to resist poking fun at her. "My apologies, should I call you Your Majesty then?" He asked with a mock little bow. His attention was caught as his falcon suddenly let out a warning sound before flying back onto his arm. Damian's eyes widened and he glanced back at the Princess, "Put the hood on Morgana if you want to live." All jesting had left him as he scanned the skies almost nervously. Then before he could see if Morgana had followed his orders there was a distinct chill and Jafar appeared in front of him. "Son...what has taken you so long to get back?" He asked as he stepped closer towards him. Damian let out a dark sounding chuckle, "I just beat up some local idiots...I found someone I think I'll probably sell. She might be worth something...I don't know." He said with a shrug. Jafar's eyes darted over to Morgana and he frowned as he studied her, "She seems familiar...have I met her before?" He asked quietly. Damian glanced over at her as well and snorted, "No she's just some peasant girl...don't worry I'll make sure to get a good price from her." He said indifferently.

Morgana scoffed at his words and crossed her arms. "No Mr. Smartass, he was my little brother." She mention and made a face as he called her Your Majesty. "Ugh...that's even worse." Morgana jumped when she suddenly heard Damian's falcon make a warning sound and her heart started to speed up. At his order, Morgana almost tried to fight him on it but she could tell by his tone that he was no longer kidding. Any sense of joking he may have had in that moment faded and was replaced by something much different...almost like he was scared. Morgana quickly pulled her hood up and held it low so she could barely see. A cold chill went over them, causing Morgana to shiver as she stepped closer behind Damian as if he could protect her. Though the sound of his voice put her on edge and she bit her bottom lip as she forced herself to be quiet. She flinched as Damian snorted in her direction and it took everything she had to not tell him off in that moment.

Jafar frowned and slid even closer to Morgana, his eyes boring into her. "Take off her hood." He ordered not even looking at Damian as he said this. Damian hesitated and then moved to take off her hood, "Sorry love." He whispered just loud enough for her to hear before he did so. Jafar's eyes widened when he saw Morgana. "A peasant girl? Do you take me for a fool boy?" He demanded as he turned on Damian who said nothing. "You've taken the Princess, and you tried to deceive me?! That was a foolish mistake!" He snarled and before Damian could react Jafar raised his hand and covered Damian's eyes. "Run Morgana!" Damian shouted before he started crying out in pain. Jafar began to smile, "You always were weak! Now however you've gone too far." He said pulling his hand back before Damian landed on the ground, his eyes smoking welts covering the skin around them.

Morgana clenched her hands into fists as Damian was ordered to take off her hood, sensing that something terrible was about to happen. She froze the moment she could clearly see the man before her and a need to flee filled her. Damian told her to run but before she could even try, she watched as he was attacked and was screaming in pain. "Damian!" Her heart rose to her throat as she stumbled back. She had to put her hand over her mouth to keep from screaming...she should run. Damian risked that much for her but..she couldn't leave him. Not after this. "Stop it!" Adrenaline filled her before she rushed forward and tried to tug Jafar off of Damian. Though as her hands landed on his shoulders, they fell through like he was made of air and she couldn't compensate, causing her to suddenly fall backwards onto the ground and the wind was knocked out of her. She only had time to catch her breath for a split second before she scrambled back, trying to put some distance between her and Jafar.

It had been two months since Jafar had taken Morgana. The entire Kingdom was in an uproar as the King and Queen's only surviving heir was now gone. Jafar had used those two months to try getting information from her about the Kingdom. He had resorted to all kinds of torture methods but none seemed to really work. Although his son seemed most distraught whenever he heard Morgana being tortured. Tonight was no different, "Please father...she doesn't know anything. Just let her go!" Damian pleaded as he stood stubbornly in front of the little cell Morgana was currently being kept in. Jafar snorted, "Let the daughter of my arch nemesis go?! Don't be stupid...she's valuable to me. Besides the King and Queen would do anything to ensure her survival." He said with a small smirk. Damian looked disgusted then, "Haven't you hurt them enough? This will do nothing for your revenge and we both know it!" He snapped, Jafar's eyes narrowed. "Silence!" He snapped, a wave of energy sending Damian flying back. "Do not forget who is in charge here." He continued watching as Damian slowly got up. Ever since Jafar had blinded him, Damian had had to work out how to survive with his sight impaired. It had been amusing to watch, as Jafar silently wondered why he hadn't done it before. Damian said nothing but his expression was forbidding, a sight that was highly entertaining.

Morgana sat slumped in her little cell, her arms chained above her head like they had been for a large portion of the last two months. Jafar was intent on getting some sort of information that could put him back in control of the kingdom but Morgana refused. The more time she spent with this man, the more she remembered him. The memories were foggy at first but now they were clear. How the kingdom had fallen to ruin in his control, what he had done to her mother...what he had done to her. She couldn't let that happen again and if the only thing standing between him and the kingdom was her, she would do whatever it took to keep him away. Jafar had kept her locked up ever since that day and he only seemed to provide her with enough to keep her alive. She had lost weight and was much weaker than she used to be but she still remained stubborn. Just because her body was weaker didn't mean that her mind was. She was drifting in and out of sleep when she heard bits and pieces of Jafar and Damian's conversation. When Damian was thrown against the bars, she jumped as she was jolted totally awake and she looked up. She had only seen Damian a few times since he was blinded and she knew he was having trouble. The past two months with these two had confirmed that Damian was indeed her missing brother...but she couldn't tell him. He had enough to deal with. Morgana wanted nothing more than to help him but there was no way for her to...not like this. "It's alright...he can torture me all he wants. I have nothing to say to him." Morgana spoke, her voice surprisingly strong compared to how she looked in that moment.

Damian slumped, looking even more defeated at Morgana's words. "It's not all right...as long as he hurts you it's not all right!" He snapped, an unusual feeling of protectiveness flooding him as he spoke. Jafar chuckled, "You two remind me of another disgusting couple." He sneered as he swept through the bars and approached Morgana. She looked far worse then she had when he had first seen her, a fact that filled him with pride. "Dear me, I wonder what your parents would say if they could see you now. Although I've heard rumors that the King is being pressured to lay your mother aside and marry someone who will give him more heirs." He said with a little sneer. Then again the King had been dealing with that kind of pressure ever since he had married Odette. As people simply couldn't understand why John had fallen for his sister, even more so they saw it as an immoral sin against the Gods themselves. Damian pushed himself into a standing position, "Stay away from her." He said in a warning tone. Jafar glanced back at him and smirked, "Or what? It's not like you can do anything." He said as he used his powers to make Morgana start choking.

Morgana felt her heart skip at how protective Damian suddenly got and she stared at him in surprise. He barely knew her, even after spending the past two months together...why was he trying so hard to save her? Though as Jafar started to approach her, she tensed and pressed her back against the wall. His words only made her hate him more..."Do not speak ill of my parents. They are in this position now because of you, you sick-" Morgana could feel her hatred seeping into her voice but before she could insult Jafar, she felt a familiar pressure on her throat. Her hands tugged against the chains holding her, causing her to make a pained noise as they cut into her already torn skin. Morgana felt her body arch as she tried to gain breath but she couldn't. Of course she knew that her parents had been siblings. Derek never let her forget it. He had always thought she was soiled because of that...the only reason he had agreed to marry her was because it would make him king. But Morgana had seen the love her parents shared. It was pure. It was something Morgana always wanted to find...

Damian heard the sounds of Morgana choking and immediately ran towards the door. He fumbled with the lock and pried it open with a mumbled curse, Jafar took no notice as he was too busy strangling Morgana to bother observing Damian. Damian finally managed to open the cell door and flung his hand towards where he could sense Jafar's presence. His eyes closed as he concentrated on using his magic, it wasn't very often that he used it. Jafar had tried forcing him to stop using it when he was much younger, so the natural response was slow to respond. Jafar's power started to cease and his very form dimmed as Damian started draining him. "Foolish boy!" Jafar snapped as he turned on Damian. Damian's body trembled but he kept concentrating, "I won't let you hurt her any longer." He said and opened his eyes to reveal they were now pitch black. Jafar's eyes widened at the sight, obviously not expecting to see the change. "This shouldn't be happening." He said in a near unsure tone as he studied Damian with sudden worry. Damian stepped closer towards Jafar then, "I've had enough of your damned mind games father, and this ends now!" His body seemed to flare as tendrils of smoke wrapped around Jafar in a vise like grip. Due to his incorporeal form, Jafar was unable to prepare himself and let out a cry as his form turned fainter by the minute. "You...need...me." He gasped out. Damian shook his head then, "No...I don't." He growled, tears sliding down his face as he said this.

Morgana saw Damian trying to get into the cell and she tried to tell him to stop but she couldn't speak. Jafar's grasp was stronger than ever. Her vision was already started to spot and blur...gods she felt helpless. Normally she'd be able to hold out much longer but her body had been in pure neglect for so long that it wasn't as strong as it used to be. Just as she was about to go over the edge, Jafar's hold on her weakened because of Damian's distraction and her body slumped as she tried to regain her breath. Morgana looked up and even though her vision was blurred, she could see the darkness in Damian's eyes and she swallowed. "Damian...stop..." She tried to call out to him but her voice broke and she could speak only a little louder than a whisper. This couldn't be healthy for him. Of course she only had Jafar's reaction to base that assumption off of but a part of her believe him. Morgana had never seen him that scared. "Damian, that's enough!" She managed to speak, using most of the energy she had left to try and get him to stop. The last thing she wanted for him was to get hurt for trying to save her.

Damian couldn't stop now even if he had wanted too, and he honestly didn't want to stop hurting the man who had been torturing Morgana for months. "This ends now!" He roared and Jafar slowly disappeared, exhausted...Damian slowly fell down spent. He couldn't sense Jafar's presence any longer but that didn't make him any less worried. Jafar was someone he didn't want to get on the wrong side of, "I'm...so...I'm so sorry." He whispered as he felt Morgana's gaze on him. She had begged for him to stop and he hadn't listened...it had been like something much darker had been in control of his actions. Something that bothered him even more then he would ever openly admit, the thought of Morgana treating him differently as a result was even more worrisome. "I...just wanted to protect you." He said as he tried getting up. He'd never used his magic so intently before and it showed...his whole body felt drained.
