Jafar eagerly returned Odette's kiss as he held up a finger in John's direction. John didn't even bother waiting for him to finish before he stepped forward and yanked Jafar away from Odette. He thrust him against the wall, his knife held to Jafar's throat. "Let her go....I don't know what you've done to her but she's not the same." He said darkly. Jafar chuckled, "I did warn you what would happen if I brought her back didn't I?" He asked with clear amusement. John's grip tightened on him, and a bead of blood welled under the knife from the force John was using on it. "I should have trusted my instincts and had you dismissed immediately." He growled.

Odette whimpered as Jafar was torn away from her and she struggled to sit up thanks to her belly. Though she managed to sit up before she shot a glare over at John. It was so rude of him to deny her what he wouldn't give her himself. Her gaze traveled down to her hand as she suddenly felt a weight in it. A small dagger had appeared in her hand, no doubt from part of Jafar's plan. The gold in her eyes turned a hue of red and she slowly but silently stepped up behind her brother. She leaned up on her tip toes, pressing her bare chest against his back. "Oh darling...if it wasn't for him, our child and I would be dead. You couldn't do anything...but he saved me. You left me to die." She growled the last words before she sunk the blade right into his back. It sank into his flesh next to his spine, just above his hips to momentarily paralyze him and cause the most damage. Blood dripped from his wound and onto her hand before she pulled back and smiled at her work. She brought her hand up to her lips, her tongue trailing along her finger as she tasted his blood.

It had been two years since Jafar had taken everything away from John. He had been lucky enough to have been found by Aurora, a woman who as it so turned out happened to be a dragon. She had recognized him and had ultimately saved his life, in so doing however she had turned him into a weredragon. The initial transformations had not been pleasant and he had struggled not to give in to his newly awakened hatred. It had been a difficult realization to come to terms with his new appearance, Odette wouldn't recognize him. How could she? There were days that John didn't recognize himself any longer, but he knew that he had to get back to her. Jafar had taken over his kingdom and John's wife was his prisoner, it wasn't a situation that John particularly enjoyed. "You can't avoid this forever you know." A soft voice stated and he glanced over to look at Aurora, she was in her human form unlike John. "Don't remind me...she's going to hate me." John said after a moment as he stared down at his dark blue and gold form. He was only a little smaller then Aurora's dragon form but sometimes it felt like he was still so much smaller then she was. "She won't hate you, besides it took you a long time to control the were part of you." Aurora pointed out with a shrug. John shuddered hating the reminder, it hadn't been an easy adjustment. "You're the rightful King of this country...it's time you took it back." She continued as if having not seen his reaction. John nodded and then stood up, easily towering over Aurora as he did so. "Can I convince you to come along?" He asked, his head swinging down to look at her. Aurora seemed to consider it, "I would, but you need to take him down without my assistance. You have the skills now to do just that...I know you can face him." She said evenly as she patted his side. John frowned, "If you say so." He said doubtfully and then inclined his head to her, "I owe you my life...and any favor you require after I take back my Kingdom I will do my best to fulfill." He said solemnly. He meant every word and she seemed to realize that, "Oh I'll definitely remember." She said and gave him a toothy smile of sorts before John turned and leapt into the air, his wings propelling him towards the Kingdom.

In the two years since Jafar took over the kingdom, so much had changed. Odette had been blamed for the death of her husband the king so she had been jailed. For three months she had been treated like the prisoners in those cells but considering her pregnancy, she was treated slightly better. But not much. Then she went into labor. Somehow she had convinced Jafar not to kill the child...on one condition. She had to pledge her loyalty to him and him alone. Her life, as well as the child's depended on it. If she so much as resisted even once, they would be ended. There were times that she considered it but she couldn't do that to John...no matter how badly she wanted to be with him, she had to honor him by raising their child. In return, she was Jafar's play thing. He had raped her countless times within the past two years but it was all worth it every time she got to see her child. Odette was walking through the forest, a skin tight white dress clinging to her curves. Her daughter bounded about a few feet in front of her, blonde curls bouncing around her as she twirled and danced in her little dress she had decorated with flowers. She cherished the few hours she got after dinner to spend time with Morgana before she had to return her daughter to the nursery and go to bed with Jafar. Odette had a routine of walking out towards the lake to watch the sunset before they returned to the castle. If she was out longer than normal, Jafar would send guards after them and she would be punished once Morgana was out of eyesight. "Morgana, keep back from the water sweetie. We have to go back soon." Odette called out to her daughter, watching as Morgana floated flower petals on the surface of the water.

John spotted the courtyard of the castle as he kept flying. His wings seemed to stretch further out as he banked towards the castle. He spotted the guards shouting in alarm as he approached and he let out a loud roar. It wouldn't hurt to make an entrance and besides he was eager to see his wife again. Aurora had brought him news letting him know that she was still alive, and all he wanted was to be with her. He landed in the courtyard then, only just then noticing the two people currently occupying it. The first was Odette and the other was a young child...she had to be two. He was so shellshocked that he didn't initially react as the little girl slipped and fell into the water due to the force of his landing. It was only Odette's scream that snapped him out of it and he dove under the water neatly. It didn't take very long for him to find her, and when he did he made sure to pick her up with care. He broke out of the water again and gently laid his...it could only be his daughter down on the grass. Then he reverted to his human form, of course he hadn't taken into consideration just how his wife would react when she saw him. His main concern was making sure that his daughter lived and he immediately went to check on her vitals.

Odette spun around as she heard the alarms going off around the castle, the shouting of the guards causing her to look to the skies. There was something dark flying above and panic started to fill her. She had to get her daughter to safety. Though just as she turned to grab her, Morgana screamed and fell into the water and immediately slipped under the surface. "Morgana!!" Odette ran towards her daughter, only getting about knee deep into the water before something huge dove past her, water spraying everywhere. To keep herself from slipping under too she had to retreat to shore, not even caring that she was soaked and her clothes clung to her. The only thing that she cared about was getting her daughter back. Then the form sprung out and laid something small down. Just as she neared them, it shifted into the form of a man and she froze. His blonde locks and frame was familiar. Too familiar. It was her husband...it was John. How she was seeing him right now she didn't know but it could wait. Morgana had to come first. "I...I don't know if you're real or not but...please. Please save her. My daughter is all I have left." Odette whispered, tears slipping down her cheeks as she stared down at Morgana. She kept her gaze averted from the man and only focused on her.

John barely registered Odette's words as he stared down at the young girl, his mind nearly going blank. Then he remembered what he could do and he gently pressed a hand on the girl's arm. A moment later she started coughing water up from her lungs, her body shaking. John waited anxiously for her to open her eyes before he stepped back, "I didn't mean too....I just wanted to find some place to land." He said awkwardly. If Aurora had seen making such an amateur mistake she would have raked her claws on his scales. "Odette...I promise it's me...even though I know it sounds crazy." He admitted as he ran a hand through his hair. "How sentimental." John's whole body stiffened and he whirled around to see Jafar standing there surrounded by a platoon of guards. "I thought I killed you once before Your Highness....although it seems I was mistaken." Jafar's lip curled in disdain. "I won't make the same mistake twice, even if you are a weredragon." He said as he stepped forward. John took a protective stance in front of Odette and his daughter, "I'm stronger then the last time we met Jafar...and better equipped." He said with a near grin although his eyes were sharp.

Odette was instantly filled with relief as Morgana started to cough up water, her body obviously shaking with fear. She started to cry and Odette picked up her daughter, holding her desperately to her chest. "Shh, it's alright. You're okay...I've got you." She whispered trying to calm her despite the fact that she was just as rattled as her daughter. At John's words, Odette finally forced herself to look at him. It had been two years since she had seen him...she thought he had been dead. But before she could say anything, she heard Jafar's voice and her skin paled. Odette scrambled to her feet, holding Morgana tightly to her chest. She couldn't let John protect her though...Jafar still had such power over them. He could kill them in an instant. "John...stop." Odette managed to whisper. "You can't stop him. He'll kill her..." She whispered only loud enough for him to hear before she willed herself to step out from behind John. Her legs shook but she forced herself to move to Jafar, keeping her gaze averted from both men at all times.

John stared over at Odette as she said this, surely she wasn't being serious but she kept moving towards Jafar. "She's right...your daughter needs me." Jafar purred as he slid an arm around Odette in a possessive motion. John snarled, his eyes turning a dark gold as he did so before he started to transform once again. "As I said before I'm stronger then I was last time Jafar. Are you going to face me like a man or hide behind others like a coward?" He growled as he stepped forward. Jafar's smile widened, "Do you remember what happened the last time we met? Your darling wife stabbed you in the back...that must have been a rude awakening." He said with a little laugh. John's eyes darkened and his tail whipped through the air causing the men around Jafar to scramble back. "You were the one who cursed her...and for that I'll make sure you bleed." John said as he stepped forward. Before he could react Jafar snatched Morgana out of Odette's grasp, "I've been taking very good care of your darling daughter...why she might even rival you in terms of strength one day." He said smirking up at John as John immediately froze, afraid to make any sudden move that could result in Morgana being hurt.

Odette stiffened as Jafar slid his arm around her, her body instantly shaking with fear. It didn't help that she and Morgana were still wet from the water either but she refused to let go of her. As John shifted, her eyes widened at what he had become and she felt Morgana's grip tighten on her. What had happened to him? Though she was brought out of her thoughts at Jafar's words. She was still so ashamed that night...Jafar took every chance he could to remind her of that too if she ever tried to act out. Suddenly Jafar snatched Morgana from her arms and fear filled her. "No, please!" Before she could reach for her daughter, the guards around them grabbed her arms and held her back. She tried to fight against them but she knew it was no use. Odette knew Jafar had been spending more time alone with her daughter and each time she saw her after, she seemed different. Morgana was slowly becoming less and less like herself....and that scared her.

John's eyes narrowed into slits, "If you've harmed one hair on her head-" Jafar smirked up at him, "You'll what?" He asked with a knowing smirk. "Burn me? No...I think not, you need me to keep your precious daughter alive. She's not fully human anymore...you know." He said musingly. John took a step forward his eyes nearly turning red, "Oh whoops...did I say that out loud?" Jafar's smile grew even wider. "You see I've been giving her demon blood...she loves the stuff now. Why it's become the only way she ever stays calm throughout the day, without it...well she might wither and die. It's sadly poetic in a way." Jafar said as he roughly passed Morgana back to Odette, without keeping a very good grip on her. "So...do you want to risk your daughter's death? If so...by all means please take your shot." He said and spread his arms. John cursed and glanced over at Odette silently wondering if perhaps Jafar was merely bluffing. All his dragon instincts wanted him to take the sorcerer down, but he needed to know what Odette was thinking. She'd know more then him what Jafar was planning...she was smarter then most after all.

Odette felt her heart sink at Jafar's words and she stared at him in disbelief. He had never told her what he was doing to her...but he had promised to keep Morgana out of everything if she had given in to him. And she had given everything to him in hopes of that promise. The guards released her arms just in time for her to catch Morgana, but she was so shocked that her body couldn't support the weight. She fell to her knees beside Jafar in defeat with the child in her arms. "You bastard....you lied to me." Odette whispered before she looked up at Jafar, anger in her eyes. "You promised me if I did whatever you wanted that you would leave her alone. That you wouldn't put her in harms way...I never said no to you! I never should have believed you..." She breathed the last words before she broke into tears, tightly hugging Morgana to her chest. Of course she should have known better. But for Morgana, she would do anything. She would be raped and tortured a million times if it meant keeping her safe...but it had been a lie this whole time. Her daughter had never been safe. She should have just taken both of their lives when she had the chance...the Jafar could never control them like this.

Jafar chuckled turning his gaze towards Odette with a smirk, "No you shouldn't have...you really shouldn't have." He said mockingly. "It just goes to show that you were willing to be my lapdog for my every command." He said before turning to John. John wasn't sure who moved first, but he sprang towards Jafar fire burning his throat as he leapt at him. Jafar shot a spell at him while his guards closed in on John, John's tail whipped through the air and sent some guards flying back. Then he curled his tail protectively around both Odette and Morgana. The spell Jafar had sent to John bounced off of John's scales, and then John bit down on Jafar's staff before he ripped it out of Jafar's grasp. Before he had time to contemplate the issue he swallowed the staff, it didn't go down very well but John didn't care. The less power Jafar had at the moment the better off John would feel as he didn't want Jafar to hold any power. "Listen to me very carefully Jafar....You are going to die." He said after he had pinned Jafar on the ground. Aurora could possibly help Morgana...she'd have more knowledge on the subject at any rate. Jafar looked like he was about to protest but John didn't allow him any time to do much before he bent down and took off Jafar's head off.

Odette flinched as Jafar said that she had wanted what had happened...how willing she had been for it all. Though before she could say another word, both men seemed to lunge forward in unison. Morgana screamed and Odette kept her daughter close for fear of her getting hurt. Just as she was about to run with Morgana, John had whipped his tail around them so they couldn't run. It should have scared her more but instead it made her feel safer. He was protecting them. Morgana seemed to calm down as well despite everything that was happening around them. And then she heard it. John had taken off Jafar's head and the mere sound of it made her cringe. The guards around them all retreated back to the castle, leaving Odette alone in the courtyard with John and her daughter. Everything had happened so fast...but what would happen now? Jafar had torn the kingdom apart. The people thought she was a joke...so many of them called her a whore because of how easily she gave in to Jafar...but the people didn't know the threat he held over her. With Jafar gone maybe that threat would diminish...only if they could find another way to save Morgana.

John pulled back, blood dripped down past his teeth coating his mouth and spilling on the ground. The staff made his stomach feel queasy, and he didn't want to shift back just yet for fear that the staff might not shift down with him. "I'm sorry..I didn't mean to frighten you." He said quietly as he glanced over at Odette and their daughter. Of course the blood on his mouth probably wasn't helping his case one bit, his eyes landed on Morgana. "I know someone who can probably help her...someone I trust." He continued as he sat back, his tail slowly easing away as to give both Odette and Morgana room to move as they liked. As if on cue a second set of wing beats filled the air and John looked up as he sensed more then saw Aurora as she suddenly arrived. With a roar Aurora landed neatly next to John, as she took in the area with a sweeping gaze. "I did tell you that you could handle it didn't I?" She asked coyly. John chuckled, "Yeah you did...you were right as usual." He said grinning as her tail slid up and brushed some of the blood off of his chin. "You got it all over you again...messy eater." She said playfully her eyes landing on Odette and Morgana. "Oh...forgive me, I failed to introduce myself I'm Aurora...John's bondmate." She said bowing a little with her head. John hastily cleared his throat, "And what she means by that is that she's the one who saved my life. Our blood is linked...it's an ancient thing." He said awkwardly.
