Wendy stared out across the courtyard, it was full of party goers and other people from her dad's business. She sighed and swished the drink in her glass, since she was still under age it wasn't alcoholic but she kinda wished it was. It was no secret that her father was one of the biggest crime bosses in the entire Kingdom. He worked with people like Dimitri and Nero Cobra just to name a few. In fact he had a reputation for being one of the worst that the criminal underworld had to deal with. Her hand tightened on the glass as she saw him sitting at a table with a group of young women...some even Wendy's age surrounding him. Even though Wendy was only fifteen, she was well aware of what her father did in his spare time. Thankfully he'd never tried anything with her, but Wendy kept her distance all the same. She downed the rest of her glass and set it on a passing waiter's tray. Maybe if she was lucky she could make an escape, she checked behind her and saw that her two bodyguards were currently occupied. Good...that would make this much easier...she debated for a few moments and then ducked through an alcove that led outside. She wasn't the only party goer who had moved outside she noted as she saw a couple pressed against a column. They hadn't noticed her just yet and she edged away from them, hoping to find an area that would be unoccupied. The woman let out a pleasurable moan and Wendy made a face, even though a small part of her wondered what it was that made the whole thing so pleasurable. She brushed the thought off as soon as it entered her brain...whatever it was she was content not knowing. Finally she made her way onto a balcony, no one had come near it just yet and she was silently grateful. For a few hours at least she'd have some time to herself. She sat down on a nearby love seat and smoothed her skirts out as she reached into a pocket in her dress to withdraw a tiny sketchbook. She flipped it open to a blank page, her other hand withdrew a charcoal stub from her other pocket. Her fingers turned the stub around a little bit as she considered the page in front of her...her mind kept going back to the couple she had just seen. The way how the man had been staring at the woman as if he couldn't get enough...it was weird. All the same her mind kept replaying the events all while she started sketching. She was so caught up that she didn't even realize what she had drawn until the tip of the stub snapped and she examined the parchment with some horror. There on the page was her...only she was the one being pressed against the wall by some unknown man. The look on her face was one that Wendy couldn't picture as one that she'd actually ever use as she looked so...satisfied. A swell of heat swept through her body and she hastily flipped the sketchbook closed, feeling a little dirty. What had possessed her to draw such a thing? She pressed a hand to her temples and rubbed them for a few moments before she shoved the book back into her pocket.

Korso watched the party from the shadows of the courtyard. He was on thin ice just even being here without an invitation. This girl's father was not one to be taken lightly yet he had a debt to pay...if kidnapping the biggest crime boss in the kingdom's daughter was all he had to do, Korso sure as hell was gonna do it. After everyone had had a few drinks, he managed to get inside and float around without even drawing attention. He wasn't quite dressed for a party like this but no one seemed to mind it. Within a few hours, most of them were too drunk to notice him. A part of him wished he was too but he had a job to do. He had an escape plan already in mind if he were to get caught but it was still early. He could enjoy the party for a little while. Korso grabbed a drink from a waitress that passed by and ventured outside onto a balcony. He hopped up on banister and sat off to the side in the shadows, leaning his back against the stone wall. It was hardly proper manners for a party like this but he didn't care. Though he heard footsteps and glanced over to see her coming around the corner. She didn't even seem to notice him and sat with her back facing his direction. Korso smirked and took a sip of his drink. His gaze landed on her sketchpad and he raised an eyebrow when he saw what she had drawn. It was her, pressed up against a wall much like the lovers that littered the courtyard below. Though the man that was with her looked familiar. From what he could tell, it was his face. She had never met him before so it was interesting. "Looks like I have an admirer." Korso chuckled and downed the rest of his drink before he hopped down and glanced over her shoulder at her confused look. "That is me, is it not? In your little book. I usually get to know a girl before I let her draw me in such a way." He teased before he circled around the loveseat where she sat and took a seat across from her on the other set.

Wendy nearly jumped in surprise when someone spoke to her. For a few moments she just stared at him not entirely sure how to respond. She must have drawn his face completely by accident...a fact that made her face heat up even more. "I...uh...I honestly didn't even mean to draw you like that I just got um carried away." She shyly admitted as she looked down at her lap. "I'm sorry, I...really shouldn't have done that, I just-" She broke off, no real excuse came to mind...at least none that sounded believable, and honestly she wasn't sure if he'd believe her. Why should he? It wasn't like he had any reason too...hell she didn't even believe her own excuse. She frowned as she studied him curiously, it suddenly dawned on her that she didn't recognize him beyond the picture that she had done of him. "Have we met before? I don't think my father has introduced us..." She trailed off thoughtfully. Now that she thought about it, she was just about positive he wasn't someone in her father's exclusive circle. It made him all the more interesting...most people knew to stay away from these sorts of things unless they had been invited of course. Her father had certain punishments he dished out to anyone who ever came in without an invitation. Up close the man was more handsome then the little sketch she had done of him...it didn't quite do him justice now that she thought about it. She hastily looked away when she realized she was still staring at him dumbly.

Korso couldn't help the smirk that came to his face as she became flustered and he waved over another waitress. She brought over a few glasses and Korso took one with wink. As the waitress walked away, he couldn't help but admire her ass in that tight little skirt as she walked away. Though his attention was caught once again when Wendy asked if they had met. "Well I think I would have remembered if I had met a pretty girl like you." He teased as he took in her form. She was quite pretty for her age. Normally younger girls didn't interest him but this one...something about her made him curious. But he couldn't get caught up in that. She was a job. That was it. "I'm here on business. I hardly needed an invitation to join this...lovely celebration." Though it seemed more like a brothel compared to a residence at the time. Couples littered the courtyards below and if he listened hard enough, he could hear the moans of satisfied women echoing in the night. "So I noticed earlier that you weren't enjoying the celebration. Stuff like this not in your tastes? It must be tempting to leave it all behin." Korso chuckled as he leaned forward and rested his elbows on his knees. If he played his cards right, he wouldn't even have to kidnap her. He could just trick her into running away with him and he'd be home free. "What do you say we get out of here?" Korso smirked and gestured to the forest that lied beyond the property lines. He had a horse waiting there for a quick getaway. He had planned on having to take her unconscious but this would be much easier to slip away without being caught.

Wendy blushed at the man's words although it didn't pass her notice that he was checking one of the waitresses out. "Like what you see then?" She asked, only moments later realizing what she had just said and almost immediately regretting it. She could still faintly hear the sounds of couples together through the building. It made her feel even more aware...and she shifted awkwardly in place. At his question though she froze, "I'm afraid you have the wrong idea about me sir...I should probably go." She said and stood up to give him a hasty curtsy before she picked up her skirts and fled. Of course he'd automatically assume she was nothing more then a conquest. Gods...she had been stupid, yes he was attractive but she should know better. Growing up in her father's home had taught her never to trust strangers...no matter how tempting they might appear. She was so caught up in her thoughts she failed to see the young man in front of her until she quite literally ran into his arms. "Slow down there Miss Darling." Wendy stiffened as Gaston's arms tightened around her waist pulling her closer against him. Gaston was one of her father's clients, and there were rumors circulating that he planned to make a proposal to her that very evening. Wendy tried pressing her hands against his chest to give herself some breathing room. The dress she wore was constricting enough, but his arms around her were making it almost impossible for her to get any air in. "Hello Mr. Gaston...would you please-" She broke off as his arms around her tightened considerably. "You look almost ravishing in that gown Wendy...I must say you are the belle of the ball." He said his eyes lingering on Wendy's cleavage, and Wendy tried yet again to push herself free to no avail. "That's very kind of you Mr-" He slid a hand up and cupped her face making her freeze a little more. She was used to the looks she sometimes received from the men who worked for her father, but Gaston's made her feel like she was being undressed in front of him. This time was no different, only now he had her in a compromising position. "You should just call me Gaston my dear after all you and I are going to be married soon enough." He said before he leaned down towards her. Wendy's eyes widened when she realized just what he was trying to do and she turned her head away from his lips so they landed on her cheek instead. "You have yet to propose Mr. Gaston, and until you do actions like this could be considered dangerous." She said as calmly as she was able. Her heart was pounding though and she felt like she was on the verge of fainting, no doubt because of his arms and the dress. Gaston smirked and slid his hand down her side making her shudder. "I am planning on proposing tonight, your father and I have already discussed the matter." He said with a small smirk. She stared up at him with her heart sinking, if that was indeed the case then she knew it would only be a matter of time before she and Gaston were married. "I...I see." She said quietly, wishing that she had taken the unknown man up on his offer to just escape. Then she wouldn't have to worry about marriage proposals, or men who treated her like she was their plaything.

Korso raised an eyebrow when Wendy seemed to get scared off and before he could even speak again, she was gone. She no doubt had gotten the wrong idea. Though now that he thought about it, he could have worded that better. He didn't blame her for thinking that he wanted to get in her pants. Korso sighed and took another sip of his drink. This wouldn't be as easy as he thought. Though he heard someone say her name and he glanced up to see a larger man holding her close to him...and Wendy seemed to not want any part of it. Korso rolled his eyes before he pushed himself to his feet. If he had to deal with assholes like this, he'd never get her out of here. As he neared them, Korso cleared his throat and slid an arm around Wendy's waist while his other hand pried Gaston's hands off of her in almost an instant. Once she was free, he tugged her back so there was finally space between her and Gaston. "Are you a little lost sir? I believe my girlfriend here said no to you and I don't know about you but I don't prefer to share." His gaze darkened as he looked Gaston up and down and his hand gripped Wendy's waist, pulling her close to him like a lover would. "Are you alright? You look a little warm darling." Korso leaned down and pressed a kiss against her cheek like he was checking her temperature. "Just follow my lead...kiss me." He whispered only loud enough for her to hear and kept his head tilted so Gaston couldn't see that he was whispering to her.

Wendy was getting a little desperate as Gaston bent down to kiss her again, only this time she was saved by someone else. Before she knew it someone's arm wrapped around her waist and then pushed Gaston away from her. She blinked in some confusion and then looked over to see Korso holding her. Normally she might have been too concerned about protocol but considering that he had just saved her from Gaston she could care less about it. Instead she leaned into his embrace as if it was second nature to her, it felt more natural then she'd ever admit. Her hand slid up his chest as he bent down to press a tender kiss on her cheek. "I'm fine dear, Gaston was just on his way out." She said, and then blushed at his words. It made some sense to do so but Wendy had never kissed anyone before and she was more then a little self-conscious. Gods she hoped she didn't mess the kiss up...that would be all kinds of embarrassing. Feeling Gaston's eyes boring into them, she swallowed her fear and leaned up just the tiniest fraction to tentatively press her lips against his. Her whole body instantly felt warm and she became even more aware of just how much space was between them. Gaston snorted, "You might have a boyfriend now but he won't last long." He said in a tone that promised trouble before he turned on his heel and left.

Korso smirked when she seemed to catch on quickly and her body leaned into his. The feeling of her hand sliding up his chest sent an odd sensation through him but he forced it back down. To his surprise, she actually listened and followed his little order. Her lips pressed against his in a shy kiss. If he didn't know any better, he'd think this was her first kiss. Maybe it was. It would explain why she was being to tentative. So Gaston wouldn't notice her shyness, Korso deepened the kiss and his hand slipped around her back as he held her tightly. Damn her lips were soft...It had been a while since he had had such a kiss with a woman. Once Gaston moved away, Korso reluctantly pulled back from the kiss and put some space between them though his hands still rested on her hips. "Don't thank me. Guys like that are pigs." He mumbled and led her back outside where they had been. "Now don't get the wrong idea, I wasn't trying to hit on you earlier. You're too young for my taste." Korso looked out over the yard as he finished off yet another drink. "Though my offer still stands. If you want to get away from all of this, I can help." He glanced at her over his shoulder.

Wendy let out a breathy sigh as the man suddenly deepened the kiss. His scruff on his chin scratched her and she found she liked the sensation. Then just as she was getting more used to the sensation he was pulling away from her. She nearly whimpered as he did so much to her embarrassment and then remembered exactly just who she was with. She cleared her throat and hastily stepped away from him, her face blushing a brilliant red. His hands still rested on her hips, keeping her still fairly close to him. "He's never been one of my favorite people." She quietly admitted as she followed him on out. At his other words, she blushed even more "I'm sorry for over reacting earlier...I'm only used to men who are like Gaston. I should have known better...thank you for the save back there." She continued as she shyly looked over at him from the corner of her eyes. He really was attractive...her thought from earlier on kept shifting in her head as she studied him. "I think I'd like that...my father is planning on marrying me off soon anyway and I...I'd rather not be his little pawn." It wasn't hard to admit either as her father wasn't someone anyone wanted to get on the wrong side of.

Korso turned to face her and grinned at her words. His arms crossed over his chest and he nodded towards the edge of the courtyard. "Go get some of your things and let's get going. Meet me at the edge of the courtyard. Don't be followed." He made sure she understood before he let her retire to her room. Korso moved back out and waited for her by the fountain, his form hidden in the shadows. Now he just had to get her across the border...He'd have to think of a way to get her that far. There was no doubt that she'd try and go out on her own once she was far enough from the estate. Korso sighed and ran a hand through his hair. His mind kept returning to that kiss and he looked up towards the house, his gaze landing on her window as he saw her shadow moving through the room. She had to be the youngest girl he had kissed so far...well, aside from his daughter when she was an infant. The moment his child slipped into his head, Korso shook his head and ran a hand over his face.

The man had had them riding for most of the night, until at last he found a suitable place for them to stop for the night. She had been careful not to pack too much, having not known what exactly would be suitable for outdoor work. As a result she had chosen her simplest dresses, which were still more elegant then were probably appropriate. The nightgowns she had picked out were fairly modest, save for the fact that they were thin. She only ever got thin nightgowns as her room was always kept warm thanks to a fireplace. As they finally came to a stop she slowly slid off of the horse, while she had been raised knowing how to ride she hadn't ridden quite so much before. Her lower body was sore as a result and she winced as she leaned against the horse for a few moments. The ride there had been quiet, most of it had been spent with Wendy considering the kiss the entire way. She was starting to understand why people liked kissing so much...it was nice. "We haven't been formally introduced....my name is Wendy." She said after a moment as she looked up at him, he was still on the horse though it seemed he was just about ready to get off. "I should have introduced myself earlier...I'm sorry for that." She apologized as she lowered her gaze a little.

Korso glanced down when she seemed to finally introduce herself and it suddenly dawned on him that he hadn't even done so himself. Usually his targets weren't one for conversation. It had been years since anyone new had learned his name. He was silent for a moment as he got off the horse and lifted a pack from the back of the horse. "You can call me Korso." Though he didn't seem to spend another second on it as he turned and started setting up a tent for her to sleep in. Once it was set, he moved her things inside. "Go ahead and get settled. I'll start a fire that should keep us warm for the night and keep any animals away." Korso waved her off as he returned to work. He reached into a pack and pulled out a bottle of rum, pouring some of the alcohol onto the wood before he set it ablaze. It wasn't the most efficient fire but it was better than nothing. They wouldn't be staying here long anyway. He glanced down at the bottle in his hand and sighed before he took a drink. It burned down his throat but he didn't mind it.

Wendy smiled and nodded, "Korso...good to know." She said as she watched him start to set up her tent. While he did that, she worked on getting the saddle gear off of the horse and then she rubbed it down with the horse blanket. The little work out made her feel like she was at least doing something, and it felt good. When she was finished Korso had already moved her belongings into the tent and had started working on the fire. "Thank you." She said shyly before she ducked into the tent. It didn't take too long for her to figure out how to work the bedroll and then she went about undressing herself. It took a little longer then usual as she was used to maid servants doing the work for her. Finally she changed into her nightgown, and then let her hair down so it cascaded down her shoulders in loose curls. This was the most undressed she'd ever been around someone...and the thought made her a little nervous. It took her a few moments to get her courage up and actually exit the tent, the cold air swept through and she immediately hurried towards the fire. "Remind me to get warmer underclothes." She said as she glanced over at Korso from under her lashes a little shyly.

Korso glanced over when she came back out and he swallowed. Her nightgown was thin enough that he could notice her curves whenever she moved. In the firelight, she sure as hell painted a very tempting picture. The more he looked at her, the more she look like his wife...He shook the thought from his mind and threw another stick onto the fire. "That's all you brought? Have you never spent time outside?" He shook his head and set down the bottle that had been in his hand. He should have known better. Someone of her status never had to do anything other than party. Without even thinking too much of it, he slipped his shirt off over his head and handed it to her. "It's not much more but it's better than that thing." He gestured to her nightgown and sat down next to her on a log he had pulled towards the fire. After a moment of sitting in silence, he glanced at her out of the corner of his eye and handed her the bottle. "I know you're underage but you look like you could use a drink."

Wendy glanced over at him and blushed a little bit as he noticed her outfit. "Well my father had me leading a pretty sheltered life." She said quietly, keeping her head lowered. Her jaw nearly dropped as he took off his shirt revealing his toned abs...and she hastily averted her gaze. Her mind kept going over their kiss from earlier and she dimly wondered what it would be like to kiss him again. She shook her head and accepted his shirt with a small smile, "Thank you...I'm sorry for not being that well prepared." She apologized. The shirt smelled like him she noted and oddly the smell was familiar....that was strange. She pulled it on over her nightgown and let out a sigh of relief as she felt much warmer. Silence fell between them for a few moments before he leaned over and offered her a drink. "You're right I've never had alcohol before." She said carefully as she considered the consequences of it before she accepted the drink from him. "Thank you." She said and before she could change her mind she took a sip. The drink burned the back of her throat and she wound up coughing as she moved to hand it back to him. "That's...strong." She mumbled, she could feel it going down and she made a face.
