Su let out a strangled gasp as Shang moved his mouth a little higher. The place that he sucked on next was even better in some ways and she enjoyed it in more ways then one. Her hand tightened it's grip on him as he sucked on it, every time he flicked his tongue there she let out a little shaky moan. Her free hand dug into the sheet as his other hand moved up and then his finger slid inside her. There were no words to describe the feeling, and she let out a little cry as her hand clutched the sheet even harder. She could feel something building up and then she climaxed, it was absolutely wonderful. In fact it felt like her body was on a high, as she screamed his name in ecstasy. Her entire body shook from the force of the after shocks, "Shang...that was, oh wow." She whispered trying her best to keep her voice level.

Shang felt her release coming and the moment he heard her climax it, he removed his hand and placed his mouth over her area. His tongue licked up all of her juices and he groaned. Once he had cleaned her, he slid up her body and pressed his lips against hers. Her taste was still on his tongue and he wanted her to taste it too. As he kissed her, Shang gently rubbed his member between her folds but he waited to enter her. He wanted her to catch her breath after her first orgasm but he didn't want to wait too long. His member prodded against her opening before he slowly slipped himself into her, pausing once he felt her virginal wall break and his full length was sheathed inside of her. He knew it must have been painful but he was going to treat her as well as he could.

Su lost count of how many times Shang entered her and she knew that she'd no doubt be sore the following morning. Never before had she ever felt so satisfied, and Shang was very talented..loving even. It was as if he knew her body more intimately then she did, and that was a thrill for her. The smallest touch from him sent her body aching for him, until at last she lay in a limp, nearly numb sort of haze. "I love you." She mumbled quietly as she curled up against him. Her body lay there spent and shining a little with sweat as she slowly drifted off to sleep.

Shang woke up in the middle of the night, his arms wrapped around a small form. He buried his face in her neck, breathing in her scent before he slowly pushed himself into a seated position. Su looked so beautiful as she slept...her naked body the most gorgeous one he had seen. Though the more he looked at her, the more he felt different. Had he done the right thing? Of course he loved her. He would be stupid not to. Shang shifted the covers over her, making sure she was still asleep as he slid out of the bed. For hours he paced around, each passing moment causing his mind to race. Shit..he couldn't believe he was doing this. Within moments, Shang had gotten dressed and packed his things. A small piece of paper laid on the bed next to her only reading two little words; "I'm sorry." Morning came and he was long gone, only leaving those parting words to her. He had made a mistake. One that he couldn't face when she woke up.

Su woke up eager to see Shang and she mumbled his name as she came too, her smile fell though when she realized Shang was gone. Her eyes landed on the note next to her and she hesitated before she took it. There were only two words written on it, but she knew Shang's handwriting by heart. The elated feeling she had had earlier on had dissipated...Shang was gone and once again it was because of her. She dropped the note and looked away from it as if it had burned her as she stared blankly around her room. Of all the people she had allowed herself to open up too, Shang was the most important...and now she felt used. Had she not been enough for her brother? Was he perhaps disgusted by her? She started crying then, in some ways it was even worse then when she had believed her brother to be dead. He had written her off and left...and she wasn't sure if she'd ever see him again. She cried herself back to sleep and when she woke up again hours later, she bathed and left. Her steps led her back towards the tavern, they had another owner who Su was quite familiar with. After speaking to the owner, Su was able to keep a room in exchange for entertaining guests.

It had been six months since Shang disappeared from his sister's life once again. Even though they had been separated for months before, it had never been this long...and the last time, he thought she was dead. Now he knew she was alive and she knew that he had left on his own. It still hurt him that he even did that. He had used her...Shang didn't know where to go so he ended up returning to the castle. He was reinstated as a guard for a few months before he suddenly quit. All the talk about the king and his sister, the lies they continued to tell about Su...he couldn't take it. One evening he had lashed out thanks to a few drinks and he gave up his title. Hell..he even started a fight. Phoebus had him removed from the castle under the same rules as his sister. He was never to return. Now he was a wanted man. He traveled around after that, moving from place to place until he eventually found himself back in the place he had found Su. Only this time...he couldn't find her. She had left the little home she had and Shang had thought that she had left...so he wouldn't find her again. He decided to stay in that little town in hopes to run into her again but weeks went by and nothing. Eventually he had started seeing a woman that ran one of the local shops. Though he didn't do it because he loved her. She had been pursuing him since he had returned and just to appease her, he had agreed to a date. Which was horrible. Shang walked her back to her shop and stopped in front of the door, nervously waiting to just leave her there. "That was...nice. We'll have to do this again sometime." He muttered with fake enthusiasm...but the woman ate it right up. She rambled on about another date idea set for the very next day and Shang fought the urge to just turn and walk away. He had to give her a chance..he couldn't walk out on her like he did to Su. Though her voice became piercing and just to shut her up, he leaned down and pressed a kiss against her lips. Which was again...horrible. But the woman slid right into his arms, her hands clinging to him like it was the most powerful kiss she had ever had despite the fact it was just a small peck...that she wouldn't release from.

Su's feet dragged as she made her way back from the tavern, she felt exhausted. All day she'd had to deal with handsy customers, more then one had coped a feel. Understandably, she felt dirty and ready to scream her job had become more demanding ever since Yaoi's death. The new owner was even worse, and the tavern dancing had developed into something that felt more like working at a whorehouse. It was very rare that she got time to herself, and she was even thinner then she had been before that night with Shang. The owners wanted her to stay at a certain weight so she wasn't allowed to eat very much. She didn't care though, a part of her had died the night that Shang had abandoned her. She was so caught up in her own thoughts that she didn't see the couple in front of her until she ran into them. "Oh I am so sorry...I didn't mean to intrude." She mumbled as she hastily backed up. The lady turned on her and sneered, "Go back to the whorehouse where you belong!" She snapped, Su's face flushed as she kept her head lowered. "Of course....I deeply apologize." She added before she turned to leave.

Shang grunted as he felt something collide against his back and he stumbled forward. Thankfully though his date finally broke from the kiss but his relief didn't last long. She was already yelling at whoever bumped into them. Just as he was about to turn and look, Shang froze at the voice he heard. It was her. It was Su. He turned and stared at her in disbelief, almost not even hearing the insults spewing from the woman's mouth. But the moment she mentioned the whorehouse, Shang snapped out of it and he caught the woman's hand. "That is enough. It was an accident, get over it." He growled before he released her and looked at Su. But she was already leaving. "Wait, Su!" He shouted and grabbed her arm, trying to keep her with him. She had been here the whole time...in the last place he expected to look for her. Shang ignored the woman he had been with, hoping that Su would turn to look at him. "Su..." He whispered. There was so much he wanted to say to her but now that she was here...he couldn't say anything.

Su winced as someone grasped her hand, her body was more sensitive now due to bruises left by most of the patrons. She froze up as soon as she heard Shang's voice, her eyes widened and she stared up at him with an unreadable look. "Su? Wait you know this slut?" The woman next to Shang demanded as she sauntered towards them with a dark look in her eyes. Su yanked her hand free and straightened into an almost defiant position as she rubbed her wrist. "Only as a one night stand apparently....you two deserve each other really." She said, her voice almost breaking at that last word. She kept her gaze diverted from Shang as she said this, "Again I'm sorry for bumping into you, it was on accident that I assure you." She said and before the lady with Shang could protest Su had run off.

Shang felt his anger suddenly get out of control at his date's words but just as he was about to go off on her, Su told him off an ran away. He stood dumbfounded for a moment before he growled and looked at the woman he was with. "She is not a slut and...this is over. Goodbye." He growled and didn't even give her another word before he ran after Su. Shang finally caught up to her a few blocks down and he grabbed her arm. "Su, please just stop!" He managed to get in front of her and his hands gripped her arms, though that was when he noticed bruises on her arms. His hands released her like she was fire and his gaze darkened. "Who did that to you? Tell me Su." He practically ordered even though he hadn't seen her for six months and had left her.

Su slapped Shang as soon as he was in front of her, "No! You don't get to be concerned! You abandoned me! You left me all alone on the bed, with no good-bye...no you don't have that right anymore. I waited for you...and don't you dare go off saying how hard it was for you! This isn't about you, this is about us and what we did that night. And how you couldn't stand to stay with me...do you have any idea what that's like? Waking up all alone...with no real explanation of why the one person you trusted the most in the entire world would do that to you? I felt like I had just been robbed...what have I ever done to deserve that? I gave you everything, and you just left!" She was crying as she spoke, determined for Shang to understand her perspective. "And then....I see you kissing someone else. As if I never even mattered to you, I'm just one small footnote in your book...that's all I'm good for." She said with a shrug.

Shang stumbled back as she slapped him and he didn't look at her as she yelled at him. She had every right to be upset with him...but after all this time, he never stopped thinking about her. Every second of the day, he thought of her. "I panicked! I know I can never explain why I did it...I still don't even know but I never meant to hurt you." Though he knew he wasn't helping himself with anything he said. "I love you Su...I never stopped thinking about you...You're the only other woman I've been with...I'm not good at relationships and I just knew that I would hurt you more after that night. I never should have taken advantage of you like that...You can hate me all you want. I won't blame you." Shang sighed and took a step back from her, cursing under his breath. Why had he come back? Now he was just hurting her all over again.

Su raised an eyebrow at him, "You can't tell me why you left? I mean....how hard is it to open up to me?" She asked as she stared up at him not really comprehending his words. She took a step back from him then, "If you really loved me you would have stayed...and not gone off kissing other women and Gods know what else like I-" She broke off. "I'm sorry Shang, but until you can be honest with me I don't want to see you again." It was hard for her to even say as much, even though she knew it was for the best. "You betrayed me...and yet I still love you." Her voice broke at the last note. "I have to go, I'm going to be late." She said as she stepped away from him, not really looking at him.

Shang knew she was right...there was nothing he could say to make any of this better. Why had he even tried? Though when she said she never wanted to see him again, his heart broke. Nothing after that even registered because of how lost he felt. He didn't even look at her or even hear her as she stepped around him and left. He was just left alone in the alley and he didn't move for a long time. Finally after an hour or so, he started to wander. He avoided the tavern he knew she worked at so he went across town to the other one. The rest of the night went by in a blur as he had drink after drink until he finally woke up the next morning. Only he wasn't in the room he had at the inn...he was in a jail. His head pounded and he groaned as he sat up, the world spinning so he slammed his eyes shut. Shang tried to stand but his arm caught on something and he landed back on the little cot that functioned as the bed. His left wrist was chained to the wall like he was some sort of danger. "What the hell?" Shang was full of confusion. The last thing he remembered was his fight with Su.

Su had tried to forget her conversation with Shang, but to her dismay she couldn't. It was like he'd invaded her mind somehow and she couldn't shake him loose. All she could think about was their night together and how perfect it had been...but then she had to remind herself that he had left her. Even her own customers had noticed that she wasn't as attentive, although she never really was. So she left early and on her way back, happened to overhear some women gossip about a fight that had occurred in the tavern. The person they had described as instigating the fight sounded very like her brother. Deciding to investigate still further, she paid the jailor a little visit and gave him more then a few laced drinks. It didn't take long for him to tell her everything, when she had gathered all the information she had needed she went down to pay Shang a visit. Of course the jailor was taken care of, he was busy snoring on the table right where she had left him with his keys taken. It didn't take too long for her to find Shang...the snoring kinda gave him away. And while a huge part of her felt some sympathy, she stayed back. As if sensing her presence Shang started to wake up, and on closer inspection Su could see he really wasn't doing very well. "I heard you had a rough night...and judging from that black eye I'd say that would be true." She noted as she studied him thoughtfully. "I don't want to lose you, not for a third time. I am willing to let you back into my life, on one condition...we can't be together. Not in the way you want me to be, maybe one day. For now though, we're family and family always looks out for each other." She said as she held up the key ring, "So do we have a deal?" She asked feeling unusually bold as she asked this.
